10-Minute T-Cell Tracker Tutorial
T-Cell Tracker has been designed with you, the medical practitioner in mind. Regardless of whether T-Cell Tracker is accessed by an infectious diseases specialist, pediatrician, HIV/AIDS nurse, or social worker, you will all find it easy and reassuring to work with T-Cell Tracker because of its simple design. Most clients are up and running within an hour of installing T-Cell Tracker.
T-Cell Tracker not only lets you create a patient medical
record, it has lots of great extras such as the ability to translate and
display critical HIV/AIDS data in graphic form for a quick assessment, perform
a drug lookup, print a patient admitting form, print a patient’s medications
schedule, and if the patient is 18 or younger, accomplish a
pediatric/child/adolescent assessment.
And there’s more – we’ll explain as we go along in this brief tutorial.
All work starts and ends with the Master Choices Menu which NEVER LEAVES YOUR VIEW.

There are no hidden features of “pull down” menus to make
your life difficult. In order to access
this menu, you must successfully enter a password to protect patient
confidentiality. All of the features
available on this menu are OPTIONAL – only use what you need.
T-Cell Tracker lets you customize the program to make it
easier for you to work with.
===========================================================================================================
Before
you start entering patient medical data, you can customize the program by
clicking on the Master Lists button.
The List appears below the Master Choices Menu as with all other windows
you select. The Master Lists lets you
1) create standard entries that will appear as selections throughout the system
when you are entering patient data to save time and typing effort, 2)
create/update treatment standards for prophylaxis options, treatment options
and antiretroviral options, or 3) to set standards such as Appointment Times
for scheduling patients.
For example,
a sample list that may be selected is the list of physicians. In this window you identify all physicians
who utilize the system. When T-Cell
Tracker requests that you identify the diagnosing physician, you simply select
the physician’s name from a list. The physician’s list can also be conveniently
used as an address book.

Using this window, you enter the patient demographic
information. Only those fields
highlighted in red are mandatory.
Upon completion of this effort, you have now created the
patient database.
To assist you in entering new patients in the system, you can print a Patient Admitting Form to let the patient provide much of the medical data desired by the system. The Patient Admitting Form exactly parallels the entries you will find on each window in the system.
Once you have entered all patient demographics, you may
now enter the medical data. Distinct
types of data are recorded in individual windows, so that its easy for T-Cell
Tracker to satisfy your most demanding statistical data request which is
available on the Find Any Data feature.
For example, you can painlessly obtain a list of all patients less than
18 years of age who have been prescribed retrovir.
